10 Year Anniversary Awesomeness!

Had the pleasure of shooting Michelle and Paul's 10 year anniversary photos last week in front of the Montage in Laguna Beach.  Prior to the shoot, Michelle had mentioned that she wanted to get in the water at the end of our session.  Unfortunately, not only was it cold and windy, but the waves that day were ridiculously huge. When we finally got around to the end of our session, I told Michelle "we're obviously not shooting in the water anymore", she replied "Oh  no, we can try!"  So, they quickly changed on the beach and I gave them a few brief instructions.  I told them to walk in front of me a few steps, turn towards each other, and wait for the water to come up so I could capture a few pictures of them with the water around their knees.  Well, needless to say, those plans flew out the window when the ocean decided to rise a lot faster than we had thought.  Huge waves smashed into them, but they didn't let that little detail deter them and we got some amazing shots because of it!  It all worked out in the end!
