Laguna Beach Marriage Proposal - Shayda + Arman

I had the pleasure of capturing Shayda & Arman’s marriage proposal in Laguna Beach.

Arman had originally planned to propose to Shayda on the sand in a heart shaped candle display. I got there early to wait for the soon to be engaged lovers as the heart and photos were being setup. When they arrived, Shayda saw the photos that were on display on the steps as they made their way down to the beach, they were both so beautifully emotional.

When they got down to the sand, however, instead of making a turn to the heart, they walked towards the water instead. It was a last second audible that is quite common during marriage proposals. When I noticed that he was about to get down on his knee, I hurried over to make sure I would be in the right spot to capture the moment.

Once there, he did indeed get down on his knee and asked Shayda for her hand in marriage. It was imperfectly PERFECT!
