Laguna Niguel Marriage Proposal - Daveka + Todd

I was contacted by Todd only a few days prior to him asking Daveka for her hand in marriage. Thankfully, I was still available to photograph his marriage proposal in Laguna Niguel and it was perfect!

Todd understood that the best light of the day, especially on the beach, is at golden hour so he planned on walking down to the beach with her about 30 minutes prior to sunset. As I do with all marriage proposals I capture, I got there about 30 minutes before “showtime”.

I waited for them for a bet and spotted them in the distance as they made their walk to the end of the beach where I was waiting for them. Todd brought red rose pedals with him and put them out on the sand.

When he did so, I knew that was my cue that he was about to get down on one knee and that’s exactly what happened. She obviously said YES and after a brief celebration, we had a little mini couples session right before the sun completely set under the horizon.
